even unhappy

If I could have your knee

brush against mine

or hear you laugh

at my repetitive redundant

well-replicated tales

or smell the scent you wear

when you're not wearing anything

it would make me

so happy.

I know it's a lot to ask

but I would like

even in these inconvenient times

to be near you
