DREAMS

I dream of touching you

loving you

somehow finding a way to be near you

in a way I cannot

in reality.

I must kill these dreams

destroy them where they live.

There is no way these fantasies do anything but torture

so I must desecrate them

before they infect me further.

I must thinking of touching you

loving you

having you

nevermore.
