Going to the museum with you

is always an education.

Not just because you know so much more than me

about the aesthetic world.

Not simply since you present me with terms

and concepts far beyond my ken

on an exceedingly regular basis.

Not only caused by your love of the styles and shapes

that make me rethink my boredom

and even quell it (sometimes).

Really, the thing I constantly learn

while going to the museum with you

is how

no matter how incredible the creators are

wherever we may go

they pale before your parents.
