GAME THEORY
There is a math
a science
to certain games
that I prefer
to the unreliability of life.
In chess, there is strike and counterstrike
equations to anticipate actions
an ability to predict an adversary's opposition.
In Pool halls
you can mathematically predict
what your competition can accomplish.
You can collect foreknowledge of conclusions
quickly.
There is much to be said for knowing the game
and how it is played.
There is much strength
in being aware of your surroundings
and preparing properly.
I find it valuable to play games
more valuable, perhaps
than playing life.
