fortune teller

I tell them their dreams

whether they know them or not.

It is not so hard

to predict

what they seek

in the upcoming week:

love

happiness

reunions of sorts.

All are possible

in my domain

under my tent

before my snowy ball.

It is opaque to them

but I know exactly they want.

And I grant it

a future they can embrace.

I give them dreams

in exchange for the rent.
