PLEASANT TORTURE

I don't know if I love her because of her cruelty

or despite it

if it is the fact that she teases so tremendously

or that sometimes

she doesn't

that keeps me coming round.

I don't know why I treasure the abuse

take pleasure in this pain

so frequently

so much.

I just know that something is very wrong with her

with me

with us.

I know it

and wish I could do something about it

but right now

I'm all tied up.
