WORTH & BELIEF

You may think yours is a small existence

may believe that you deserve none of this

the speeches, the praise

the awards and such

and maybe, as an individual,

you are right.

But you are so much more than that.

You are beyond mortal

in a way

you are hero and model and

people believe in you

and people pray to be like you

as you may, as well.

You have become part of the biosphere.

We breathe you, as we can.

You have entered into myth

- of a sort.

So none of your whining

about worth and belief.

You have nothing for it.

You are something greater than doubt

so swallow it

and enter into yourself

as well wish to do.
