THE SUMMONING II

In my head, I see her

- Imagine her, really -

know her better than I know myself,

for if I knew my self better,

I'd have found her long ago

and no amount of prayer or conjuring

would be necessary

to bring her to me.

If I were more aware of my heart

no demons would be called

to effect the summoning.

She would be here with me

instead of hiding only

in my head.
