THE HUNT

The quest begins.

The voyage will be long,

the trail difficult.

The spores may be old,

but we will proceed;

we will persevere.

We will search out the blue bird of happiness;

we shall hunt him down;

we will capture him.

The blue bird will attempt

to escape our clutches,

but, eventually, he'll be ours,

encaged in a gilded grid,

so we can find him

whenever we wish.

The quest begins

until the bird belongs to us

and will never leave us again.
