CHANGE, PLEASE

Change is good.

Everybody knows that.

Everybody can see

that change leaves us

in better places

than before.

Change improves the human condition.

Change improves our lives

- one and all.

Change allows a future to form

from the dirty and dust

of our past.

Change makes the past.

Change is what we humans need.

Change is what you clearly require.

Change is in our immediate future,

I see,

but still, I plead

- for me -

do not change

too much.
