This relationship we shared

that you never knew

was special to me.

I was devoted to you

even when you couldn't recognize my voice.

While you were ignorant of my existence

I was there for you.

And when we met

when you discovered me

uncovered me

new, innocent,

when you found me out,

it strengthened us,

improved our relationship

(of which you never knew).
