Your intent is irrelevant.

What you wanted

or meant to do

means nothing

anymore.

You have been tried

and found guilty.

You have done it

and you will be punished.

Would that it were in my power

to do more than pass judgment.

Were the sentence mine

you would know it swiftly

and righteously

coming down upon you

forevermore.

But it's not my place

so you will wait

for your fate to reveal itself

and for retribution to arrive.
