REINCARNATION

In another life, you were a hermit.

In another life, you were a cow.

In another life, you were the third girl from the left

less-famous, less known

than any of the others in your village

a village which no one had ever heard of.

In another life, you fed vermin

as a different kind of vermin

In all of the lives you've had

through all of your incarnations on this planet

- and any other planet -

you were nothing.

You were nobody.

You were irrelevant

In your thousands of lives

you have never been anyone

that anyone else had ever known

or cared about

or heard of.
