COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS

Here's the thing:

an individual ant?

It means nothing.

It can't do shit.

I mean, sure, it can lift - what?

Ten times it's body weight, but that means NOTHING.

An ant on its own is irrelevant.

It can't drive a car

kill a rapist

spell anathema.

An ant alone is weak and puny

and cannot debate

let alone fight.

But an ant with its brethren...

an ant among ants?

An ant in its prime

with its friends

and its faculties undiluted

by drink or death

or division?

That ant

- those ants -

should be able to topple mountains

or at least form ant-hills.

They are unstoppable.

The ant alone is inadequate.

An ant amongst allies

is an army.
