All that I've experienced cannot have been for nothing.

This heartache

these tears, those shed pounds

that screamed dream

there has to be improvement.

There has to be growth.

Something must come of this.

I am not an optimistic man

one with a sunny disposition

but I cannot have spent these months

screeching into my pillows for nothing.

For nothing?

NO.

No, there has to be a reason

there must be some change.

I must have some improvement

come from these horrid events

this awful affair

that nightmared fortnight.

Something must come of it.
