It was a battle royale

a day of cataclysmic combat.

It was the end of days

and the war of the worlds

and lots of other ugly stuff

all at once.

It was bad news, man.

It was the time that try men's souls

it was the worst of times

it was danger - will robinson - danger!

You get what I'm saying?

This intergalactic space battle

us against them

the bugeyed greenboys verses the humanic heroes

it was big.

It was mean.

It was dark.

And I am pleased to tell

all of you that missed it

that right made might

and justice triumphed

and our green skinned liberators

conquered us in 24-hours flat.

It was bad, sure

but now it's better.
