I really loved your poem

about the whales.

It was very sensitive.

Why don't you write more like that?

Why don't you do more poems like that one

with the whales

and the sensitivity

and the sea and surf spraying

over all the images?

You know what else you could do?

You could write a piece about octopi

and how they always get tangled up in blue ink

and how silly it is

to be an octopus.

Why don't you write one like that?

Or, you know,

you could write a poem

about having sex with an under-aged sea urchin

and how that's gotta hurt.

How they're all pricks or something.

You can have that one free of charge.

Anyway, I really loved that one piece you did.

It was sensitive

and beautiful

and short.
