SPLIT SECOND SIGHT

Imagine: driving along a two-way road,

you make a left,

and only then see the upcoming car

and the pedestrian past it.

The walker, a little girl is in your way

going about her business

and stopping you from doing yours.

The car is barreling to you

through you

in a minute, if you don�t make a move.

But

a move

is what will shatter that poor little girl.

If you stay where you are

the car will get you.

If you move along

the girl gets hers.

Now the car can kill you

and your car will kill the girl

probably, and

you are stuck

on the horns of a dilemma.

With instants to decide

who will live

and who will die?

With no time to think

can you be selfless

save the child

and spoil the car?

And even then,

is she safe?

Or the other driver?

Can you see it all?

What to do?

You decide
