THE ERRORS OF CREATIONISM


Why can't you see?
Why can't you agree with me?
Why can't you see that we worship different gods:
you, your little Jesus fellow,
and I, Science?


And more, why can't you tell
that my God is far more valid than yours?
Can't you tell
that you worship at a false idol
one clearly proven wrong
throughout the ages?
Darwin taught us so.
Mendel proved it
and other scientists whose names I've forgotten
they show it to be so
as clearly as you can see the world is round!


It's all obvious - it's all true.
You and your god are lies
and ridiculous and embarrassing
and - why can't you tell
how foolish is your cause
and how brilliant is mine.
Why do you insist on believing
what you don't even understand?


Look, it's obvious:
you're wrong and I'm right.
There were no Adam and Eve
just some Africans tons of thousands of years ago.
Science proved it.
Accept it.
Or maybe we should just agree
to disagree.
