I have come to the conclusion

that I should see

more of you.

I've purchased the binoculars

and the x-ray sights

and the infra-red heat-seeking goggles

and I've gained access to the roof across from you.

I have joined your gym

and your community theater

and your religion.

I have sought access to every activity I identify with you.

I am coming closer to your pole

so please don't be repulsed.

I only want to see more of you.

As I hide in the shadows

wearing my black

skulking, standing alone

apart, away from you

as you requested so feverishly

so frequently.

I have come to the conclusion

that I should see

more of you

and you less of me.
