And to think

how simple

how easy it was!

To get better

to get well

to rid myself of the sickness

the virus

the unsettling illness

that was you

all I had to do

was remove my heart

and replace it

with a pig�s.

It was virtually effortless:

After years of drink

and whining

and dining on the snout

now it is part of me

and I am free

of you

and free again

to slip my sausage

wherever I may wish.
