Modern technology has finally succeeded in placing me in the position

a nothing

unknown in all circumstances

which is just fine.

I've long accepted that fate.

I'll accept the expense of this overtly over-priced instrument.

I will happily swallow the cost of this invisibility upgrade

if it grants me the opportunity
