They said,

"These are the best years of you life.

Enjoy them.

When you look back

nothing will be better than this."

And I think,

"This is the ultimate?

These are my finest hours?

What I am living now is the epitome of my existence?"

And I sit back

and I weep.

The pain we endure

the horrors we survive

the trials, the tribulations

these terrible times

cannot be all we have to hope for.

I believe in something stronger

something longer and more fulfilling

than what we're living through now.

I have faith that we shall improve upon these days

and exist unto something better

infinitely better

when we graduate

to the next level.
