The horrible has occurred

and our states are more similar than we'd thought.

We're both orphans now.

You with your slaughtered family

and me

with mine abandoning their flesh and blood.

I do not feel shame

for what I did.

There was justice.

There was right.

I killed a man who killed a man.

Still, I killed a man�

that can't be right.

I don't expect you to identify

with me

anymore than before

but please believe me

while my family may not

I did it out of the best interests.

I did it for the world.

I did it for you

and though

I am not sorry I killed your father

I am sorry

that we're both orphans now.
